Due to recent changes in Nigerian import regulations and volatile exchange rates, it has become increasingly challenging for us to maintain our commitment to sourcing authentic Korean products at fair prices.
We understand this news may be disappointing, and we assure you that this decision was not taken lightly. At The Yummy Brand, we pride ourselves on offering high-quality Korean food, skincare, and party supplies directly imported from Korea. However, compromising on quality or charging unreasonable prices goes against our core values and wouldn't be fair to our loyal customers.
Transparency and Appreciation:
We want to be transparent about the reasons behind this temporary closure. The recent restrictions on importing certain food items, including noodles, make it difficult to guarantee consistent supply. Additionally, the fluctuating exchange rate creates significant price instability, making it impossible to offer our products at the value you deserve.
We are incredibly grateful for your continued support since our launch. Your enthusiasm for Korean culture and appreciation for our products have fueled our journey. We wouldn't be here without you, and we hope you understand the difficult situation we face.
What's Next?
While our online store and physical location will be closed until further notice, we still have some delicious tteokbokki in stock! These will be available for purchase until they sell out.
We remain committed to bringing the taste of Korea to Nigeria. We are actively exploring alternative solutions to navigate the current challenges and hope to resume operations once the situation stabilizes.
